Christmas in Mayfair at Gordon Ramsay’s Lucky Cat restaurant

Situated on Grosvenor Square, just down the road from Oxford Street and Claridges is this impressive looking restaurant. It is very buzzy, bustling and has a cool vibe. The service at the start was slow, however, our waitress Simona was very apologetic and gave us the beef dish on the house as we had to wait for so long. The food is tasty but small portions for the price being charged. The wine is VERY expensive. The best dish was the souffle which was delicious but I’m not sure I would go back just for that.

We could only find four bottles of wine which were £35-£45, the rest were £80+ which I felt was unnecessary. Average cost £95/person including half a bottle of £45 wine!!
